Massachusetts Enters the Nurse Licensure Compact

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, Governor Healey signed Bill H5100, allowing Massachusetts to join the Nurse Licensure Compact. This will help strengthen the state's nursing workforce and simplify nurse reciprocity. The NCWS fully this move (Read the NCWS recommendation here) and remains committed to assisting during the transition. We extend our gratitude to all those who helped pass this legislation, and to Governor Healey for her steadfast support of the nursing community.
