Deans of Health Sciences for Massachusetts Community Colleges Meeting – MassBay Community College

NCWS Executive Director Jay Prosser DNP, RN, CCRN-K, NE-BC poses with the Deans of Massachusetts Community Colleges. 

The NCWS recognizes and appreciates the contributions that community colleges make in educating and preparing the Massachusetts workforce. NCWS Executive Director Jay Prosser met with the Deans of Health Sciences from the Massachusetts Community Colleges on site at the new MassBay Community College facility. Dr. Prosser shared the work of the NCWS then entered into a roundtable discussion regarding challenges faced by community colleges. The discussion was robust and identified clear administrative barriers while offering opportunities for straightforward interventions that could positively impact the ability of community colleges to educate more healthcare professions. 

At the close of the meeting, the group received a tour of the new MassBay Facilities which are both impressive and innovating. The NCWS looks forward to continuing to collaborate with our community colleges partners across Massachusetts.
